Keep Your Aspirations Soaring

Life isn’t a bed of roses. There are innumerable points which afflict people all around the world. Can there be any kind of solace that since suffering is there all around we shouldn’t think much about our own sufferings ? So often we come across such instances or stories which end with a moral that as I saw people around me suffering more than myself, my sufferings got over! For example the story where a lame person gets the lesson of his life in the Church where he is shown complaining to the God regarding having made him lame and while doing so he happens to come across a person praying to the Lord and find him on a wheel chair with both the legs missing!. Similarly we are always adviced by elderly, learned persons, through scriptures that we should always took at the down trodden and feel nice about our positions instead of the other way round. But why? Why we shouldn’t look at those who are placed higher than us? Why shouldn’t we have aspirations. I think this kind of moralizing may help the feeble ones to cope up with their life’s limitation. For others who have the knack of having aspirations in the right perspective do get away with their much deserved achievement. Yes, these kind of people also possess the knack of not becoming frustrated due to failures. What we need to learn is an art of living wherein we need to aim pretty high but at the same time maintain a perfect balance over failures. We should learn the knack of treating failures as stepping stones and shouldn’t get discouraged by them at any given point of time by keeping in mind the simple fact that God has certain better assignments for us in future and never lose heart and keep aspirations soaring high. But a the same time remember never to feel satisfied by seeing the life of the down trodden.
